WEIRD FISHES / ARPEGGI

I follow to the edge of the earth and fall off

Lupeamos Weird fishes/arpeggi

Drums, bass, guitarra arpegiada.

I see 14 year old Alexandra. Alone in her room. Feeling so different from everyone, from everything. Feeling she hasn’t found her place.

And I see 30 year old Alexandra. She’s the happiest she’s ever been. Feeling accepted in a way she’s never been before. She’s feeling a love she didn’t know excited. Having relationship, friendships she never could have imagined. From the small city, feeling so trapped and now feeling so free. So loved. In a new country. With new friends. Family.

El viaje de Tay

Safety. Shallow. Enticement. Depth. Unknown.

I think about the resilience of the human heart.
The curiousity to continue to explore its capabilities, an undiscovered ocean.

Is it logical to swim deeper?
Is it logical to keep loving?

I’ve done this before and know how it ends,
But I dare to go further,
to swim and to dance
and to see the weird fish.
An elixir of life.

Shallowness is a perpetual state of longing.
The beginning of a story ending?
Safe, empty.

Caution has no place here.
I will swim deeper every chance.
Falling out of love,
but never with life.

El viaje de Geri

Another night in sf. One party. Ended early, as usual.
But all started a in Nob Hill. Dark atmosphere, but the vibes were bright.

A place from someone that knew what the key was.
All of a sudden the vinyl came on. From nowhere.

The drums, that arpeggi…

People left. It was just me against me. Or with me.
Ups and downs. Again me and me.
When I realize how important it was to listen to yourself.

Please I want people to feel what I felt.
And they do.

Letra de Weird fishes / Arpeggi by Radiohead

In the deepest ocean
The bottom of the sea
Your eyes
They turn me

Why should I stay here?
Why should I stay?

I’d be crazy not to follow
Follow where you lead
Your eyes
They turn me

Turn me on to phantoms (way out)
I follow to the edge of the Earth (way out, way out)
And fall off
Yeah, everybody leaves (way out)
If they get the chance (way out)
And this is my chance (way out)

I get eaten by the worms
And weird fishes
Picked over by the worms
And weird fishes
Weird fishes
Weird fishes

I’ll hit the bottom
Hit the bottom and escape
Escape

I’ll hit the bottom
Hit the bottom and escape
Escape
